Early returns are also welcome. • Books will be lent in the order requests are received. • You’re responsible for picking up and returning books. • In joining the book collective, we ask that you keep a debit or credit card on file in the event of lost, damaged, or unreturned books. You can securely store your card on file through our account with Square. • If a book is not returned within the 3-week borrowing period, your card on file will be charged for the cost of the book (price per specific book disclosed upon borrowing). • We ask that you don’t lend out your book to anyone else within the 3-week period you’ve borrowed it for. If you do choose to lend it out, you are ultimately still responsible for the book and its return. • If a book is damaged or lost, your card on file will be charged for the cost of the book. • You agree to not doodle on or fold pages in borrowed books.
NEXT STEPS * Within (3) days of completing the book request form you will receive an email letting you know the status of the book you requested and an estimated time when it will be available for borrowing, in the event it is not immediately available. When it is available, you will receive an email to confirm your interest and terms of borrowing. Once confirmed, you'll receive an email from Square, requesting a $1 donation. You will also be prompted to store your card on file. You must store your card on file in order to borrow a book, as this guarantees the fee of the book in the event it is unreturned, lost, or damaged. Your card will not be charged for the cost of the book unless it is unreturned, lost, or damaged.
Thank you!
